A SPECTACULAR WINE TRAIL RETREAT
SW Michigan Wine Country Bed and Breakfast in Baroda, MI
EXCELLENT Based on 309 reviews Bob Collins2024-07-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Among the Vineyards, run by Barbara, is an excellent place to stay-especially for those who enjoy Michigan's wine country as much as we do (coming over from near Chicago, to both Lower & Upper Michigan, often.) From the moment my Jill & I started to plan our stay and communicate with Barb, it was all smooth and well done. She helps you through what you need, step by step, and shows you everything- with a personal, social touch (with the addition that she lets you have your freedom; as she did when we utilized the hot tub & pool late night.) She also prepares an excellent breakfast with coffee, and gives you a tour of the total grounds-if you desire. We highly recommend staying here. Barb is a terrific host and made us so welcome. Such a lovely home and amenities, with the swimming pool, spa pool and outdoor BBQ area. We went with Barb while she gathered up eggs for our breakfast the next morning. Barb gave us plenty of advice of where to go and what to see, within the region. Baroda is a lovely village and so handy for evening meals. And don't forget the wineries! If we are ever in this part of the States again, we would certainly be stopping by. We had a great stay here right in the middle of southwest Michigan's wine country. Featuring an excellent breakfast and a wonderful bedroom with all the modern conveniences. To top it all off, an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub! Barb is a great host! Jon Lowe2024-07-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love this place, if you like wine she in the heart of wine country. We had a very pleasant stay this BnB is the nicest we have stayed in and the food was great, I would have Barb cook for us every day but that’s not going to happen. Please go you will not be disappointed, hope to go again soon. Jon & Nance Lowe Brad and Markie Wolff2024-07-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a group of friends stay at Among The Vineyards last weekend and had the best time! Barb, the inn keeper, is incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable about the area and easy to communicate with! The breakfasts are delicious, the pool area is awesome to hang out at and the rooms are very clean and cozy! We enjoyed our stay and our entire party would highly, highly recommend!!!! We had a phenomenal experience and would love to visit again. The rooms and entire house were clean and welcoming. Barb was a generous and gracious host. Her food was delicious, and the amenities were above and beyond. We used the pool, hot tub, and in room jacuzzi. All of it was of the highest quality but also easy and friendly to use. The location is great, close to everything in Baroda and St. Joseph, from restaurants to vineyards to the state parks. It was a quiet location and felt like we had complete privacy in our room. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area and looking for a relaxed and high quality getaway! Andrew2024-03-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My stay was about a year ago for an anniversary get away. Meant to review then, but forgot to do so. Cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful B&B, comfortable rooms and amenities, great home-cooked food, the list goes on. It was such a lovely stay and we look forward to making a return when we are able to. There is no way to do Among the Vineyards Bed & Breakfast justice in a review other than to say that there should be a 5+ star category for such places. The facilities are top notch, clean and inviting. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The host, Barb, is an amazing person and makes an awesome breakfast while staying on top of the whole property. The proximity to all the many wineries and things to do makes all of the aforementioned even better. And yes, finally, we loved Blu, her neighbors gentle, kind and sweet dog that rambles around the property. He made our stay all the more enjoyable! Five minutes to the shore to watch the sun set over lake Michigan. Close to St. Joseph which is good for browsing in shops, walking - all one wants from a small town visit plus plenty of good restaurants. And the vineyards...
