A SPECTACULAR WINE TRAIL RETREAT
SW Michigan Wine Country Bed and Breakfast in Baroda, MI
EXCELLENT Based on 327 reviews Melissa A. Miller2025-01-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is such a perfect bed & breakfast. Clean, delicious food, superb amenities and gracious hostess. We even went to church on Sunday with Barb as she invites her guests if they would like to come along. She makes you feel like family, not to mention her adorable and friendly pup Blu. We are so thankful we found this place and will definitely return! Tracy Von Kaenel2024-11-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast. Being to the Southwest Michigan corridor several times I am surprised to not have found it sooner, and I wish we had. The location is absolutely perfect for traversing the wine trail, and at the same time being close to the beach. Barb, the host has made the house super welcoming with every possible detail attended to. You will want for nothing as she has thought of everything. Our room, Merlot, was gorgeous with a two person Jacuzzi tub, radiant floor heating in the bathroom and a super comfortable bed. Robes are provided, which is always a big bonus in my book. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with fresh eggs from Barbs chickens, good coffee and always some sweet delight. We never had to eat lunch as we were so full from breakfast. My favorite bit was the large hot tub outside. It is covered, so even in the rain (or snow?) it's a delight. Overall a delightful stay, and we hope to come back in the summer and use the pool! Go...you won't be disappointed! Kelsee Gibbs2024-10-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful stay in the Merlot room. Barb the owner was so sweet and made sure everything was perfect. Breakfast and the daily cookies were delicious. My massage with Alex was also great. Highly recommend! Janine Dalman2024-10-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Barb was an incredible hostess. She was very helpful with recommendations and had a lot of amenities that were unexpected including fresh baked goods In our room every day. I loved that she tries to source locally as much as possible. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and so convenient to most of the wineries and breweries. The food was great. Everything was in 7 to 8 miles of among the vineyards including sunset views from Lake Michigan. I didn’t catch it when I booked, but had I known I would’ve booked a yoga session and a massage. I would definitely stay there again. Jeff Borton2024-10-13Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Barb is a spectacular host of this absolutely beautiful house and location. Breakfast was delectable and filling. Right in the middle of everything. Will be coming back! We loved our stay and the amenities of the b and b. Thanks again! Michael Wolsiefer2024-10-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Barb is fantastic! Our stay here was amazing, relaxing, and beyond our expectations. I appreciated the gluten free options for breakfast, fresh eggs, awesome resturant quality food, and cookies in our room. The B&B is close to lots of wineries, St. Joe, and New Buffalo. Plenty of things to do. My wife and I enjoyed the evening soaks in the hot tub, watching the chickens, and befriending Blue the dog. We will come here again, it's a gem. Eric Davis2024-09-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were stayed for the first time for our 11th anniversary, this was a big change from what we normally do, and absolutely loved it. The plan is to stay at Among the Vineyards for our anniversary next year too. Might just turn this into our new normal. John Cary2024-09-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a simply wonderful time. It was a wonderful getaway to help us to continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Barb is the penultimate host and her home is as warm and welcoming as she is. Her breakfasts added unneeded but greatly enjoyed pounds. The pool was wonderful as was the water slide for a 73 year young man. The location among the wineries with proximity to St. Joseph and South Haven is great. Thanks Barb and Blu, the friendly 4-legged host. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said "We'll be back!" Dustin Harper2024-09-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Among the Vinyards is a beautiful home away from home. My wife and I stayed for two nights and everything about our stay was above expectation. The patio, pool, and hot tub were great. Everything was very clean and organized. A unique breakfast cooked by the owner Barb was 5 stars every morning. Barb helped us plan and fill our days with the best hiking, winery vineyards, and taking care of every need we had. Barb took our trip to the next level. I would absolutely recommend staying here and exploring the area.
